This Victorian villa, built in 1863 hosts many original features, including high ceilings, sash windows and fireplaces. We have a king room and a king/twin room, all en-suite

The Corner House is located only a 5 minutes stroll from the historic Georgian port town of Whitehaven. Much of the town dates back to the 1700's when shipping, rum and mining were its main trades. The regenerated harbour side with it's cafes and restaurants is now noted as being the start of the C2C cycle route.

The Corner House guest facilities include onsite parking, secure cycle store, guest lounge and free WiFi. We pride ourselves on providing the right balance of service and quality that you would expect from a hotel with the personal and friendly atmosphere you would find in a bed and breakfast.
How  To Find Us
If you are coming by car we recommend that you use the postcode CA28 8AD in your sat nav system. We are located at the 1st driveway as you enter Foxhouses Road.

If you are coming by train the closest station is Corkicle, which is a request stop, and is a 5 minute walk to the B & B. Whitehaven is the main station and is a 25 minute walk, although we would recommend getting a taxi from the station rank.
